  A savings and credit cooperative offering unrivalled financial services to the local community. Now, in their third year of operation, the Sacco has given hope to the hopeless, credit to the unranked and also helped many community members to open their their first bank account in their lives. The community project has generated more than 30 employment opportunities and touched the lives of more than 3,000 poor families in the surburbs of the capital Kampala and neighbouring districts more especially Wakiso District. Under able leadership the Sacco has been able to open more 3 service centres in Kitebi, Makindye and of late, in Kikajjo Kasenge. Community members can now save their small earnings, have a place to borrow from and also some have done a notch higher and invested in Sacco shares from which they are reaping a handsome return in form of dividends at the end of each accounting period. The Sacco also offers fixed (term) deposits at a rate of between 15 and 20%. All looks set for the Sacco to become one of the leading financial services providers in the region. Stay tuned.
