  Good car rental services if you need luxurious vehicles like Landcruiser Vx, V8 among others. If you are going camping, rent from them a camper van for two or 4 people

  My girlfriend and I came from Germany and had a great time renting a car from Billy in February 2020. Everything went perfect. We took it from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Only recommendation if you get stopped by the police and get a fine: always ask for a receipt, so that they can not screw you!

  For our trip in September we rented a Toyota Landcruiser for two weeks. Everything went perfect, Joy already waited at the airport when we arrived and handed over the vehicle to us. She also took the time to stop at a shopping center with us where we stocked up for our trip. We had no issue with the car at all, except for that is was running on petrol and needed a lot of it. The payment was in cash upon arrival, Joy also gave us her number so we could communicate via what’s app should there be any issue. Prior to our trip she helped us arrange with Gorilla und chimpanzee permits. And everything was ready for us upon arrival, so we had no hassle at all. At the end of our trip they just came to Entebbe and fetched the car from our guest house, which was super easy for us! The only negative was that we rented camping equipment and the tent was way too small for two people and had no rain cover. So we ended up rearranging most of our accommodation as we couldn’t rely on the tent, as it rains almost every day. So make sure to check your tent before you drive away.

  We rented a car for over 2 weeks and were very happy with self drive Uganda! We arranged the car + rooftoptent only 4 days before we wanted to have it which was no problem at all! Also we wanted to extend our trip, which was perfectly fine as well! The car was perfect, we did not have any problems during our trip (and we drove on some very challenging roads). Billy was very helpful and flexible with all our request. Definitely recommend! (Please note: there are some other car rental companies with almost the same company name located on Entebbe road as well)
