::Tropica Inn is a great place, easily accessible. The rooms are spacious with excellent workstations. The conference facilities are good, but there's a need for a quality projector, along with notebooks and pens. A few areas require attention: the water heater needs fixing as it doesn't heat properly. The chef should update their skills, as the food and breakfast seem subpar and insufficient. The beverages served are warm. Addressing the unstable internet connection is crucial. Despite these issues, the staff are very courteous.

::The hotel is within Masaka city centre along the main road to town and next to Marple leaf hotel. The rooms are very spacious compared to all the four major hotels around town . They also have great gardens and construction of new swimming pool is under way. The rooms have free Wifi and you can watch YouTube Netflix, livestream or play any kind of music available online via your TV set. During my stay, I enjoyed fresh fish and had a wonderful buffet. Short coming was late breakfast delivery. I wish to highlight my award winner for customer care at this place. A lady named Alice, working as security person at the gate. Despite having worked at the establishment for the past 15 years, Alice is still committed to her job and offering great customer care! Without being prompted, she goes out of her way to fill in for her colleagues whenever she identifies a gap in service. " Your welcome mum" is her greeting style coupled with a big smile. Alice, I hope the owners of this hotel will find it fit to promote you one day to a supervisory role where you can fully interact with guests! My customer care vote goes to you. My fellow travellers, please whenever you pass Tropic Inn Hotel gate , flatter this lady with a small tip or gift. Let us make her feel appreciated!

::We came there because on Expedia it was announced they have a swimming pool. It was Christmas 2022. The hotel was empty and under reconstruction. Overall, the impression is like in the shining movie with all these red carpets and doors. The rooms were dirty, and the electrical lines in the wall opened. We could not stay in such unsafe rooms with a child. The swimming pool was drained. Staff pffered us the best room, but still, it had no seat on wc for example. Nevertheless, Expedia refused to return money.
