  This the only place where you can see Mpanga ,Dura, Mubuku and Maboona rivers empty into Lake George and the beginning of the 40km kazinga channel to lake Edward in Queen Elizabeth national park. Also at this lodge you clearly see the mountains of the moon- Rwenzoris with there glaciers and the rest of the Albertine rift valley towns of Kasese, and Hima while on clear nights you can see the glow of Nyiragongo Volcano.
