  Busoga Light College, Jina Campus, is a Senior Secondary School, located within Jinja City, in the East of The Republic of Uganda. Also popularly known as BLC, the School is of Mixed gender, serving both Day and Boarding learners. BLC is located 4 km from the City center, in Mafubira Jinja. Busoga Light College School though founded in 2007, has gained popularity due to the Academic excellence portrayed by the School annually, which has maintained top spots among the Academically traditional giant Schools in the Country. BLC is a non USE School, ranked by the Ministry Of Education and Sports, as the Leading Private Secondary School in Jinja District, a Four Star School, with National ranking placed among the top 50 Schools in Uganda, ''See 2009 and 2011 Listings, by the Ministry of Education and Sports as researched by the AFRO EDUCARE'' Busoga Light College Secondary School promotes Ugandan Education curriculum, as directed by the National Curriculum Development Centre of The Republic of Uganda. The enrollment of BLC School though has quite a number of Students from other East African Nations, Kenya, Tanzania and The Republic of South Sudan. The universal nature of the School Staff however make it possible for all Learners to adjust.
