  It's a nice place just right for their great food and local dishes in Mbale. Located along republic street with amenities like banks very close to it giving it an exclusive feel

  The rating notwithstanding, Hotel Eldima is a very simple budget hotel. My room was clean and reasonably sized. The door lock wasn't strong and the plumbing in the bathroom was broken. But the receptionists were very pleasant and breakfast is good for the place. Its located smack bang in the middle of town making access easy.

  I stayed at this place because a company I was working for that Weekend had checked on everyone... in my View this place needs to shut down and they do proper renovation. Linking roofs when it rained, spotted begs..towel was all old...glad I carry my own.

  This is located in the heart of Mbale City, near the Central Police Station and several banks, since it is on the Republic Street. The rooms are basic but serviceable with water and clean toilet. At the cost of just $10 or less, including a simple breakfast, the rooms are pocket friendly and meant for the local visitor, not tourist. Tourists would be best advised to book into the higher end hotels, which are located within a short distance of the City Centre.
