::Spent a weekend at the Kimbla-Mantana camp with my partner, and it was one of the best experiences we have ever had in Uganda. View is breathtaking: the lodge, located within the Lake Mburo National Park, has a vista directly on the lake and the savannah around it. Tents, luxury ones, are endowed with comfortable beds, large nets and great bathroom area, properly served by staff with fresh water every day. Food is every day cooked to perfection, with genuine products purchased from the local communities. Staff is super welcoming and helpful: we felt at home (and better). They helped in organizing trips around the park, picking and leaving us everywhere we needed for the day activities. A gem among those they offer: wake-up calls with hot coffee and biscuits served on the veranda in the morning. Nights are marvelous: immersed in the nature, the only thing that matters is to have a proper camera to capture its skies. I wish only the weekend was longer!
