::It's my 1st time here but the 1st impression is not good. They are extremely slow and people seem to be in a hurry to assist. I'm accompanying my Mzee and we are from another district. There's no clear guide of where to go because the places are not well labeled. How I wish you had a private wing...

::Has modern structures but there is a lot of waiting in between

::The service is ok. It gets a bit crowdy at times though and the queue can be long on such days. But otherwise, great service

::The hospital is a regional referral under the ministry of health, located in mbarara town, kabakuza near taso offices and it also serves as mbarara university teaching hospital. Generally many medical schools turnup for academic services. It has all departments and serves almost the biggest part of western Uganda. It serves about nearly 5000 patients a day with it's quality medical care. It is a center of research studies contributing to the improvement of medicine worldwide. Exchange programs are conducted and foreign or international students are always welcome to learn better managements of diseases endemic to Africa. Offers postgraduate studies under mbarara university. This is a place were services are offered diligently with great professionals at no cost. And since it's a teaching hospital, students are also always there to assist patients with basic support as they get acclimatized to the place. It's good choice for patient care and medical education in Africa 🌍.

::Well this government hospital will be helpful if you can afford to buy all that is required to work on your patient. Experienced Doctors are in place and have capacity to give you the best attention but they lack equipment to use.
