::Fun mountain bike tour of lake Victoria. Thies is a very friendly guide who joked around with us the whole day and was very patient for some of the other group members who were slower than others. After renting a bike and helmet, we took a boat to another side of the lake and biked about 22km for the beginner route. I never mountain biked before so the trip was enough to kick my butt! The views of the lake were amazing and we stopped a little more than halfway for drinks and snacks. Bring plenty of water and a light snack to keep your blood sugar up. Wear shoes/clothes that you can get muddy.
