  I attended the movie premiere of World Of Pain, by the Great Acholi Cultural Movie Industry (GACUMI). The Taks Center offered a great facility for the event with a bar/concessions window, a lit stage outside for the dance performance pre-show, and a large enough room to accommodate the 200 or so attending to be comfortable without getting crowded.

  TAKS is an interesting place. It's great for quiet meetings. Local food is prepared well and fairly priced. It's cool to be able to meet outside under the trees on hot days.

  Great paintings, art work and crafts. Very reasonably priced too for tourists

  Beautiful art-pieces. Cool and tranquil place with nice local dishes
