  Best fish at the source of the river Nile is found here. The French restaurant is the place to eat.

  This is a hidden gem amongst the tourist focused recreation beach. To find it walk the few meters to the Ghandi memorial and on the left just past the moored boats and it's in the trees (literally). Friendly staff, a nice menu and sofas or chairs of all shapes and sizes with a view of the Nile await. Come here if you want to chill and watch the world go by. Only draw back is the prices but hey...it is rather nice here.
