::It's a nice museum with great customer care and friendly staffs. It is home to historical riches of Uganda it is accessible by road means from the main city where by private transportation, public buses or bikes known as "boda boda".

::This place is I think the only Museum we have in the country so I believe it has a vast amount of historical matter within. It's got skeletons and skulls and statues. Great parking so if you're admiring history, your car is on safe hands of the security guards!

::It's an average museum which showcases key aspects of Ugandan culture. A highlight of the visit was seeing the multiple varieties of Ugandan huts which are accessible once you are inside the museum. If you are coming to this museum to be blown over by exquisite artefacts then you are going to be disappointed. A guide is able to provide you a tour and a mini history lesson which is recommended if you want things to be kept interesting. You will also get charged nearly double the entrance fee if you're carrying a camera and intend to take pictures.

::This is pretty much the only museum in Kampala. I urge everyone to visit to see how underfunded it is and to give the place as much revenue as possible. It needs it. I have been visiting for nearly 5 years and not much has changed. They still even have the policy of charging extra for taking photos. Only in Uganda. I remember a policeman trying to stop me taking pictures of the bus park outside the museum. No wonder tourism is not generating the massive potential $$$ it could.

::The museum is still an icon. The environment and landscaping needs a lot of care and work as the public sitting benches are not welcoming. The library there is usable - great books for all ages, functional washrooms and helpful receptionist. Make that visit because the antiques are still there.
